Quick And Easy Tortilla Recipe

Is anyone else feeling like a home chef now that we're "sheltering in place"? Ever since my husband started working at Google and getting free lunches I have been super lazy with dinner. I told him I'd make sandwiches since he was having fancy lunches everyday. Fast forward to this pandemic and his "Google Wife" (my pet name for Google's food services) is out of commission.
I can't have my husband starving so I've reopened my kitchen services and have a new staple recipe to share with you.

I typically start with half of the flour that I'm expecting to use. So 3 cups in this case. Then I add in the rest of my dry ingredients. Salt and Baking powder.
Next I pour in my warm water and oil. I mix it together and add in flour until I can form a ball.
Next I tear off pieces and form smaller balls. To roll out on a counter top powdered with flour. At this point I may add a little extra flour, oil, or water to get the texture that I want.
Lastly I place the dough on a preheated pan. When you see bubbles flip it over, turning again as needed. These tortillas can be used for enchiladas, tacos, etc. Don't worry about consistency in size, shape, or thickness just enjoy having fresh homemade tortillas!

Ingredients:
5-6 cups flour
2 1/4 cups water
4 tsp baking powder
3 tsp salt
2/3 cup olive oil

Make:
1. Mix together 3 cups flour salt and baking powder
2 Add in water and oil. Stir together mixture adding in flour until you can form a nonsticky ball.
3. Separate into even pieces and form smaller dough balls.
4. Roll out into circles.
5. Heat and Eat. Place on preheated pan flipping until brown spots on both sides.
